APPLICANTS MUST SERVE THE PUBLIC GOOD IN THE AREAS OF CIVIC, CONSERVATION/PRESERVATION, CULTURAL/ARTS, EDUCATION, AND HEALTH/WELFARE. APPLICANTS WILL NEED TO BE LOCATED IN THE "LOWCOUNTRY" REGION OF SOUTH CAROLINA OR IN THE AREA THAT THE POST AND COURIER NEWSPAPER OPERATES (AIKEN, GEORGETOWN, AND KINGSTREE). THE FOUNDATION WILL NOT FUND FUNDRAISING EVENTS, OPERATING DEFICITS OR REQUESTS FROM AGENCIES ALREADY PARTNERING WITH THE TRIDENT UNITED WAY (WE ALREADY PARTNER WITH THEM).
